You will also always get a certificate to prove what has been inspected during the servicing process. We will also reschedule your service for the following year and contact you 2 weeks prior to the due date to organise a convenient day and time.

gAS APPLIANCE REPAIRS

Unfortunately, like anything else gas appliances can and do malfunction or break down. This is often at the most inconvenient times, when you need them the most like in winter season.

Huddersfield Gas and Plumbing are ready and on hand to help at the most distressing times to repair your gas appliances, quickly and cost effectively.

We can repair:

We also repair other heating equipment, that may not be working correctly or unfortunately sometimes leaking water like radiators, pipework or radiator valves.

Unlike many other companies with high call out fees, and then an hourly rate on top, we charge a small diagnostic fee to cover expenses to come to you and diagnose what's wrong. If we can carry out a first time fix then the diagnostic fee will be included in the first hour of labour at only £59-00.

If parts are required you will be charged only £35 to diagnose the fault with nothing else to pay until the work is completed. You will be quoted for this remedial work first. You will be given full details of the faults as part of the diagnostic fee charge.

hEATING REPAIRS

Unfortunately, like anything else in the home, things usually malfunction, breakdown and stop working, or cause huge convenience also in other ways like dreaded leaks. This is often at the most inconvenient and frustrating times, like when you need them the most in the winter season.

Huddersfield Gas and Plumbing are ready and on hand to help at the most distressing times to repair your heating equipment and pipework quickly and cost effectively.

Book This service for things like:

• Radiator and radiator valves leaking or not working.
• Heating and hot water pipework leaking.
• Suspected blockages in pipework.
• Heating pumps and electrical valves faulty.
• Heating timers, thermostats and other controls not working correctly or not working at all.
• Gas leaks on pipework and appliance, possibly had you gas turned off by the national gas supplier or utility company.

For anything else you think you might need us to help you with, book this service and write a note in the comments box describing your problem, this helps us to come prepared as we strive to complete a first time fix whenever possible

LANDLORD GAS SAFETY CHECKS

All landlords must ensure all gas appliances are checked for safety every 12 months to ensure the safety of their tenants. This isn't a recommendation but a legal requirement.

All gas appliances must now also have a carbon monoxide detector close to the appliance with the exception of cookers.

Huddersfield Gas and Plumbing provide this essential work to estate agents, letting agents and private landlords.

First time landlords can book this service online with us, a gas safety check and carbon monoxide alarms where needed as an added extra. We also supply and fit smoke alarms should you need them.

Once your gas safety certificate for your property has expired, we will do all the leg work for you by arranging the inspection to be done by contacting your tenant, they can also book here online.
